Bill Dempsey
Hi, I’m Bill, the patriarch of the Dempsey family.
I’ve been taking pictures for years, mostly because I can’t stop noticing cool stuff when I’m out and about. In 2009, I started shooting weddings, seniors, and boudoir sessions, but those days are mostly behind me. Now I pick up the camera when I feel like it. No clients, no deadlines, just whatever catches my eye.
When I’m not holding a camera, I’m probably outside. I love hiking, fishing, and seeing how much smoke I can get rolling out of my BBQ pit before the woods disappear behind it. I take smoking meat way too seriously, and if you’ve ever nailed a brisket, you would understand why.
Most weekends I’m somewhere along the East Coast, following my girls from soccer field to soccer field. I’ve gotten really good at living out of the car, losing my voice, and pretending I don’t care about the score. Photography’s still my favorite way to slow things down and appreciate life a little.
If you ever want to swap BBQ stories , talk about the chaos of youth sports, or just photography chitchat, I’m always up for that. Thanks for stopping by and checking out the site.
